Writing my blog and completing my website got me thinking about my own wedding. I was determined to have the whole caboodle ! White Dress , family , friends and music. Being older though I didn't want to spend loads (OK we didn't have loads) I set a budget of £6,000 for the lot. Honeymoon dress, suits, cake, hall everything. We had our reception in a village hall which my lovely friends decorated with stuff I bought from eBay. I got a local catering company to provide a Buffett and my wonderful Mum made an evening meal. I went with the theme old movies each table was an old movie and I used Movie poster postcards to direct guests to their tables. Our Movie card was 'Its a Wonderful life' and it has been !
